LONG catch up post ahead...

The internet is working today, so I thought I would post! Since the 4th, we have been busy, ofcourse!

Swim lessons are done, and the kids are swimming wonderfully! Especially for this being their first lessons. Peanut is going under, diving for things in the shallow end and jumping off of the diving board. She is pretty good with a noodle too. She is the dog paddle princess! Buzz had 2 weeks of private lessons and you would think that boy had been waiting the past 8 years for this one set of lessons. He no longer wants to waste time in the shallow end. He prefers to jump and play in the deep end and refuses to wear a life vest or use any other type of flotation. He is enjoying the face mask I bought this year and loves to go under water! Wow, what a difference in just one set of lessons!!! Which by the way, we owe a big shout out to J. He was really great with Buzz and we can't thank him enough! Thanks J! :)

In other news, Boyscout started his internship and is liking it so far. This is week 2, and he is staying with his sister in our new town while I am here with the kids in my parents town. We are about an hour and 20 minutes away from each other, but he gets to come home on the weekends.

YES, we did find a house, but we can't move in until the 2nd week in August. So we wait. Its a small but newer (than our last house) 3 bed 2 bath. It has a fenced yard, just right for my little preshies. I will have to modify the exits and some of the cupboards for our resident escape artist, but all in all I think we found a good one.

Anyone interested in helping us move? We would appreciate your help! I am not above bribery, infact it works quite well, so in this case, as in most, I am offering to feed the volunteers :)

Our family reunion is approaching, and we are SO excited to spend a week with the fam! I have been cooking like mad. As always we will be bringing the caramel chex mix! This year, I am adding Red's famous Oreo Bon-Bons! and a recipe I found in my mom's um, I guess you could call it a recipe box...? (anyone who has seen it knows) Its called Reeses Candy. Its homemade, but tastes like the real thing! YUM! :D And ofcourse real food. We (mom and I) have made Taco meat, sweet n sour, french dip, baked beans, refried beans, sausage dip, etc. I know it sounds like a lot, but it is for a full week.

I finally cleaned my car too. It was a pig inside. enough said.

When I find my camera cords and such, I can put some pictures on here. But I wouldn't hold my breath, cause it won't be till mid August at the soonest. sorry.

Until next time :) ...

Sounds like you have been a busy bee. E-mail me some details about the move. If we are around, of course Shawn would like to help. Good luck with the move!

I'm so happy you found a place! I can't wait for you guys to be closer. Although it stinks because we'll be out of town for our family reunion the 2nd week in August. Sorry we won't be able to be of any help :(

Okay, I think I want to come crash your family reunion...that food sounds delicious!
