Whats been happening here...

Peanut in her Easter Dress today, since we had Regional Conference last week.

Buzz's Henoch Shoenleign Parparra.
Its a long story. It will most likely last 4 to 6 weeks.
Its not contagious, but poor boy.

Easter weekend, we took a little road trip to Carthage. We had a nice day as a family, even though Buzz was not feeling wonderful. This was before he developed the rash.

Boyscout and Peanut playing at the park a couple weeks ago. I had just as much fun watching them as they did playing! I have a video somewhere of this same day. Boyscout is teaching Peanut to ride 'bronc' style on one of the little toys there. HILARIOUS!!! I will post it asap.

Back from my latest obsession :)

Or maybe I should say my Late Obsession.

We shut off our TV about 2 weeks ago, to prepare for the upcoming move and save ourselves from the satellite bill that was ever growing. SO HARD! We are HUGE TV watchers and now we just sit and stare at one another. Not that this is always bad :)

I have never loved to read. I enjoy it ONLY when the story is SUPER great. I don't read books that are recommended to me very often. I especially don't read them when the characters or story line are of NO interest to me, even if all they can say is good about the book. It really has to GRAB me for me to read it.

Recently, I have let my friend persuade me into a few good books. I know, a little shocking. Then I decided that I wanted to watch a movie that was just released to see if I would like to read the books...She said she would not lend me her copy of the movie until I read the first book. So, I decided that I would give it a try.

The drawbacks, were that its about teenage vampire love. BORING. I don't care for tween stuff, and I DO Not Do vampire stuff. ever.

Nevertheless, I find myself SO wrapped up in it. I finished TWILIGHT in 2 days. I watched the movie, though not as good as the book. It was a nice story, I really enjoyed it. But on to book 2. It was ok. I am not a huge Jacob fan. But by the end, I was riveted and dying to get my hands on book 3, mind you its only been about 4 days since I started the series. I got book 3 and 4 at the same time. I read Eclipse in one day! Breaking Dawn took me a couple days, cause by this point I was suffering from EXTREME insomnia. I was too worked up to even sleep. All I wanted to do was READ!!

My great husband let me. I had a really hard time cooking, cleaning, sleeping bathing, etc.

So, now I am all wrapped up in reading it all over again and catching even more of all the great details.

I know I'm only about a year or so behind the trend, but I can't wait to see the next movie in November!

Of course all this was after the kids went back to school and I was home alone during the days.

Now, this week, it was brought to my attention today that we have between 7 and 9 weeks left here in the mid-west!

The 'movers' (mom & dad) will be here sometime the end of May or first of June. I better get packin'! I might be posting things on here that we want to get rid of. Let me know if you want anything. Otherwise, its going to the yard sale pile!
