Christmas Day

This is what you might find us doing for the rest of the break! Santa came and among the gifts and paper, this is the funnest by far! We occasionally take breaks for food and to go potty. Otherwise, we can't be torn away from the guitars! If you have a xbox 360 & are online, call us and we can dual!

Merry Christmas to all! We miss those of you we are far away from! We are thinking of you and all the fun times to be had! This is our last Christmas here in the Midwest!!! YAHOOOOOO!

I will post some pics of Christmas, when we dig ourselves out of the disastrous living room! :)

New place to shop!

I have to give a plug for this great jewelry! Go here and see :)

I know her personally and she always has killer jewelry on, so she decided to make it and sell it! FUN FUN!

Got this in an email & thought I'd share :)

Dear Santa,
I've been a good mom all year. I've fed, cleaned and cuddled my Children on demand, visited the doctor's office more than my doctor and sold
sixty-two cases of candy bars to raise money to plant a shade tree on the school playground. I was hoping you could spread my list out over several Christmases, since I had to write this letter with my son's red crayon, on the back of a receipt in the laundry room between cycles, and who knows when I'll find anymore free time in the next 18 years.
Here are my Christmas wishes:
I'd like a pair of legs that don't ache (in any color, except purple, which I already have)
and arms that don't hurt or flap in the breeze, but are strong enough to pull my screaming child out of the candy aisle in the grocery store. I'd also like a waist, since I lost mine somewhere in the seventh month of my last pregnancy. If you're hauling big ticket items this year I'd like fingerprint resistant windows and a radio that only plays adult music, a television that doesn't broadcast any programs containing talking animals, and a refrigerator with a secret compartment behind the crisper where I can hide to talk on the phone.
On the practical side, I could use a talking doll that says, 'Yes, Mommy' to boost my parental confidence, along with two kids who don't fight and three pairs of jeans that will zip all the way up without the use of power tools. I could also use a recording of Tibetan monks chanting 'Don't eat in the living room' and 'Take your hands off your brother,' because my voice seems to be just out of my children's hearing range and can only be heard by the dog.
If it's too late to find any of these products, I'd settle for enough time to brush my teeth and comb my hair in the same morning, or the luxury of eating food warmer than room temperature without it being served in a Styrofoam container. If you don't mind, I could also use a few Christmas miracles to brighten
the holiday season. Would it be too much trouble to declare ketchup a vegetable? It will clear my conscience immensely. It would be helpful if you could coerce my children to help around the house without demanding payment as if they were the bosses of an organized crime family.
Well, Santa, the buzzer on the dryer is calling and my son saw my feet under the laundry room door. I think he wants his crayon back. Have a safe trip and remember to leave your wet boots by the door and come in and dry off so you don't catch cold. Help yourself to cookies on the table but don't eat too
many or leave crumbs on the carpet.
Yours Always,
MOM...
P.S. One more thing...you can cancel all my requests if you can keep my children young enough to believe in Santa.
*Santa has asked that this gets passed on to all the mommies you know.

-25

I think we are done being sick! yay!

Although, it is -25 degrees outside with the windchill, so not a lot is happening here. Boyscout's car is pretty much frozen shut, covered in snow and ice. Mine... well, its nice and cozy in the garage. :)

It is suppose to be at least in the 20's tomorrow, but then more snow, everyday, next week.

Church was even canceled after 1 hour. No complaining here :)
I mean Buzz & Peanut were happy :)

Christmas is in four days, and we are pretty much snowed in and absolutely ready!!!(as long as the power doesn't go out.)

I am sure that I will need some fun ideas to keep us sustained tomorrow, so if you have any, leave them! Cause we have already watched ALL of our Christmas movies :)

Happy Christmas Break!

still sick...

So I'm still sick. I thought I would be over it by now, but NO.

Dear flu bug,

Christmas is a week away and I haven't given one gift of anything. Haven't made any goodies, candies, nothin'.

I have done one load of laundry in 6 days. I won't even tell you what Peanut wore to school today. I am actually on the verge of embarrassed.

I haven't made a decent dinner in about a week now.

I didn't send ANY Christmas cards.

I really want to have a great weekend before Christmas, to get all the things I need to get done, done.

I really need to get all my gifts tagged, and delivered, without YOU attached to each one! People don't appreciate gifts of sickness you know.

Take a hike flu bug. I don't have time for you anymore.

Seriously,
one sick mama

Wanna Wii?

go here and try to win,

and then give it to me for Christmas! :)

Stomach Bug.

Yes, we have one.

Buzz brought it home.

Gave it to me.

I apparently tried to give it to Boyscout, but not sure if he got it yet.

Peanut has escaped it so far.

Christmas has shnuck up on us this year SO quickly! I regret to say, there will not be any cards coming your way this year. sorry. I'm just wiped out. I still haven't mailed Christmas presents to my family, let alone cards! yikes. (they will get mailed this week, i promise :))

I will consider a new year letter. maybe.

I will have lots to post about in the next 6 months or so. What you ask? The MOVE, of course! We will now be in steady progress in search of a place to go practice!!! yay!

Happy Holidays!!!
(by the way, the power went out while typing this post. So if it doesn't make sense, thats why. :) it does not have anything to do with my thoughts, or typing skills... :) plus, ive been sick.

Quick Post

Last night I heard this conversation between Boyscout and Peanut...

Boyscout: When is Santa's birthday?
Peanut: Umm...August 19th?
B: No. Thats someone else's birthday.
P: Um... July 13th.
B: Really? How do you know that?
P: Because. I'm a people person!

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! I could not control the laughter! Boyscout and I laughed for a while about this. We even make reference to it now and again. Where did she get all that funny from?
