Aren't we all looking for ways to SAVE money? As a SAHM, there are limited things you can do to make money, and trying to save it, for me, well, lets say DIFFICULT.
So I came across this website here. She makes it look SO easy. Not only to SAVE, but in some cases she MAKES money. All at the grocery store. A place I find myself at frequently.
In fact, she is so savvy, she spent $3029 and saved $6539 in one year!
I have also come across some other helpful things on this site.
I now have a MENU for a MONTH. Complete with Main dish, Bread, Fruit and Veggie. Its balanced. Its easy. Its for a whole month. Its Fabulous! Plus it really helps with my grocery list. Since I know what we are eating, I know what I need to buy, hence less time at the store. No more missing side dishes, corn bread, garlic bread, fruit, etc. FAN.Tastic. :)
I also have this battle with my house. Everyday. Every week. All the time. It won't stay clean. No. Matter. What.
So, I downloaded Fistful's cleaning schedule. Its for the week, month, every 6 months, and yearly. She even has a daily one! How great is that! Everyone can have a job for the day, week, etc.
So, we are gonna try it out. So far its been 3 days on the Menu, 2 on the cleaning schedule, and I am still trying to gear up for the coupons. Wish me luck!

Oh my, let me tell you, couponing is THE way to go. I was trying to figure out how to make money being a SAHM as well and this has definitely been it. We have our $300 monthly grocery budget (which includes EVERYTHING) and I can get a good $2000+ worth of groceries out of it with coupons. Definitely worth it.
Thanks for the info! I will definitely have to check out that site! I think I need a cleaning schedule around here too. Even without kids it gets out of control!!
Oh, and coupons are AmAzInG!! Once you start you will never go back.
BTW...I hear you are coming down our way soon... any chance of getting together??
Hugs,
Amy :)
